Coasteering

Coasteering is a fantastic, action-packed activity in which we include rock climbing, sea level traversing and open water swimming. We take you sea cave exploring and encourage the exhilarating experiences of cliff jumping. It is one of Adventure Training North East's most popular activities with school groups, corporate teams, stag and hen parties, youth groups, families and friends.

Marsden Cove, South Shields has a fantastic range of challenges to offer at any state of the tide. It is incredible how much this trip can vary, and groups often return to experience the same activity at a different tide state. It is a stunning stretch of coastline.

Northumberland has some beautiful but rugged coast.  Rumbling Kern provides an ideal location for this exciting and highly entertaining activity. You see the coast from a unique perspective. ATNE's experience fully qualified instructors will take you on a magical coastal journey. Coasteering is an ideal group activity, enabling you to share this fun and exciting experience with your friends!

This activity runs from April to the end of October. ATNE provide helmets, wetsuits, buoyancy aids, skull caps, waterproofs.

This activity is only suitable for 9+ years. All participants must be capable of swimming 25m in open water.
