North East Schools - GCSE PE Assessments

The GCSE PE syllabus allows students to be assessed in a range of practical activities. We have found over the years that our Climbing programme is very popular with North East schools.Students enjoy the courses make excellent progress and consistently achieve high practical grades.

The Climbing option involves visits to some of the excellent local climbing walls. Students quickly develop movement skills, learn how to belay their friends, perform safety checks and are soon able to confidently evidence that they are independent climbers capable of visiting any Climbing Wall.

We provide all marking, moderation and witness statements. Our experience of GCSE PE (dating back to 1989!) ensures credibility. Both Jon and Caroline are former Heads of PE.

Practical activities away from the school site prove motivating. Students are engaged, encouraged and extended. Practical marks always exceed expectations.
