Happy 50th Birthday!

On Sunday we met MS and 9 of his friends on the village green in Garrigill in brilliant sunshine. They were in the North Pennines to celebrate MS's 50th birthday in a 'different' way!

The 'lads' were up for the challenge of Ash Ghyll, with it's jumps, swims, slides and scrambles. With an age range of 47 => 65 it was difficult to know what to expect....the 'Lads' did not disappoint, with a hilarious afternoon of fun in the ghyll. The fantastic weather certainly helped, but it was the banter and the need to do every task over and over and over again that was the lasting memory.

MS and his friends were great fun. We had an excellent time....thankfully the Birthday cake survived the trip to Garrigill and we all enjoyed a slice to finish a really enjoyable trip.
