Dame Allan's DofE success
Congratulations to c. 60 Dame Allan's students who successfully completed their Gold and Silver DofE Qualifying Expeditions in the Lake District last week. You were all brilliant!
One again the organisation of the trip was superb, with highly experienced and dedicated staff from the school taking great care to supervise their students safely and sensitively, whilst allowing them the experience of a self-contained joiurney.
The Lakes weather was a 'mixed bag of tricks', but even two days of rain failed to dampen spirits on the last afternoon at Ullswater. A fantastic effort guys....we look forward to working with you again next year as the Silvers go for Gold!
