Wider Key Skills - Castle Green
We have just finished a Level 2 Wider Key Skills course with 6 very entertaining students from Castle Green School, Sunderland.
The school asked us to adopt a very different format to our usual course and we were happy to ablige. 9 days spread over c. 6 weeks with shorter modules of Working with Others, Improve own learning and Problem Solving done is isolated units.
We remained true to our Outdoor Learning philosphy with activities including: canyoning; bushcraft; climbing; orienteering; camp craft and river crossing. The boys seemed to enjoy themselves and are on course to complete their paperwork in time for moderation.
Our work was made significantly easier due to excellent support from the school and its staff. Well done boys!
